Passenger side mirror lens

I accidentally clipped my passenger side mirror with a construction sign and the only damage was the small lens oner the indicator light. Mo damage to the mirror or the operation of the light. Dealer is telling the entire mirror needs to be replaced. Lead time 4 weeks, $900.00. Hard to believe the small lens can't be replaced? Tartan Font Art Creative arts Plaid
