If I remember correctly I think you have to cut the rubber backing.

EDIT: Found this on the SpeedLogix website

Automatic vehicles you will need to cut some of the rubber off the back to fit the parking brake lever. 6-speed vehicles do not require any cutting. We suggest using an epoxy adhesive for durable fit.

I bought the same Ebreak pedal from Speedlogix months before I received my car, and thought I got duped as it did not fit. Now I need to find it and see if this work around will work for my automatic.

I had a lot of problems with mine falling off, too. I notched out the rubber on the back of the pedal, I tried double-sided tape…..I tried RTV. I’d eventually hit it with my shoe or something getting into the car, and it’d go rolling onto the carpet. Imagine if you were ever in a situation where you NEEDED to use the e-brake, and you slip right off of it because the pedal cover falls off. No thanks.

I just recently had the idea to drill a small hole on the center of the pedal cover, and drill a hole in the pedal or arm itself, and secure the pedal cover with a button-head Allen screw. I used a 4-40 stainless screw, you hardly even notice it is there. I used a 4-40 nut with Nylon insert on the back, so it wont vibrate or work its way loose.

Pic of when I had it on my bench at work:

Bought mine from speed logic too. Like I said, I trimmed mine down and used double sided Gorilla brand sticky tape. Works great so far. But the pedal cover does not fit as is at all. It is made wrong, or for a different car entirely.

Same, I missed the must modify in the description. Not thrilled when I realized it, not that it was a big job to notch. Just the fact SpedLogix couldn't source one made for our cars to save a sku. I used 3m gray double sided tape. Cleaned both parts and used heat gun to set. Fell off once but since then seems to be holding.

Everyone saying cut it and tape it...? What?

I bought one, pulled the rubber off the old one (the stainless fell off) and put a corner of the new one over the pedal, and then pulled it over like a fitted bed sheet. No trimming. No taping.

It's got a ridge to hold it on, don't cut the ridge lol

You must have a M6....us in the A8 crowd get this from Speedlogix:

I tried not cutting mine and definitely wouldn't stay on. Glad your simple project remained simple👍

You'd think they'd be the same, I did! That's why my WTF was towards Speedlogix. Someone here could undoubtedly rattle off the number of A8's vs M6's but I'm guessing there's a bunch of A8's. So why do they not have one for an A8? Instead we get here's a new shiny part, now cut it up🙄...it was simple, it's just the point of it.

The entire parking brake system and pedal assembly is different A8 to M6. The A8 release is fully automatic where you press to apply the brake and then press again to release.

The M6 is the older style manual release where there is an actual release lever that you pull to release the brake. There is none of that with the A8 system.
