Im not aware of the DSC being avilable for the Hellcat or the Trackhawk. Does DSC sell a version thats different? I searched and couldnt find.

DSC works with the programmable DSC software to customize. The DiabloSport version is not programmable at the moment.

FYI..DiabloSport can be programmed, software is in beta, I've been using it since November of last year.

Yup, we got DSC and DiabloSport to crosstalk it last May (have a copy too). Both reps from DSC and DiabloSport are great people. But it hasn’t been released yet for public consumption.

Backwards compatible I assume? I'm on the market for either/or of the controllers, but will wait if its worth it in the event only the newer diablosports are tuneable in that sense

The problem with that is the same proplem with coilovers at the track. Ppl have no clue what they are doing and make all kinds of adjustments thinking their car will handle better when 9/10 times they make it handle worse! Thats fact with coilovers.

Buddy was an instrutor at Lyme Rock race way here in CT years ago and would tell me how ppl buy these $100k plus cars and then get coilovers and think they're now race car drivers lol cause they make their own adjustments now but as a result they totally **** everything lol.

Thats what I see happening with this unit when ppl start screwing with all the settings thinking they know more than the ppl who designed it lol.

The only benifit I see is being able to change the settings in the rear on launch and how power is delivered. Other than that I see ppl screwing things up and making it drive worse!

The whole purpose of this unit imo is so u DONT have to make changes for it to work properly. It comes tuned already but I guess if ur a dedictaed track racer and know WTF ur doing its probably a great function. All others imo should just stick to the setting they spent a very long time developing for each car.

That’s a good and fair point, I was thinking more along the lines of people with more experience sharing their setups that might vary track to track moreso than my messing with it directly, or am off base with that being a possibility?

From that angle I can definately see it being beneficial especially if lots of ppl use that function but track conditions and weather temps will play a huge roll in that and imo the conditions change all the time which is why the algorithms they have designed seem to work best in all conditions but again if ur very experienced I can see it working great.

I have a stand alone and a seperate Halidex controller for the rear in my Audi and being able to make adjustments is priceless so I can see the benefit of the ability to make adjustments with the suspension as well for sure. As long as u know what ur doing and I think most ppl will not know what they doing unless a representative from either company is helping set ur car up.

In fact, I was looking at the Tractive coilovers for my Audi that comes with the DSC controller and was interested in the ability to custom design custom launch settings so it definately has a purpose for some. Just seems to make most sense for most ppl to not **** it lol

The beta software seems to work fine with the current iteration. The reason for the software request was to tweak the Launch threshold timer so it gives us the ability to do that.

If you're wanting to fine tweak, or add a different suspension setup to fine tune, the DSC is the way to go. But for a plug-n-play solution, the DiabloSport works fine.
