I’ve been saying for a while that I think you’re going to see a lot of people come to their senses when FOMO wears off before their car shows up.

They will still eventually sell out but it’s not going to be at crazy ADM for all of the remaining cars like the dealerships were thinking.

The crap economy hit just at the wrong time.

Redeyes are cool and all, but they're not worth $120k, $150k, or more.

To be honest if you’re buying a $100k car you should have $30k to put down. I totally get what you’re saying though about ADM because who wants to pay interest on ADM also.

Most people don’t and that’s why you’re seeing the market indicators right now.

Luxury items are tanking right now. The RV industry, motorcycles and ATV’s are way down. It’s just showing up in the used car market which is then followed by new cars.

I was surprised to read that the biggest hit on resale right now is the Tesla.

No one said Hellcats are all bought in cash so it won’t matter. I was replying to someone saying everyone is bailing on the expensive cars because of financing.

There will be people bailing on orders and the car market is collapsing so if you have cash on hand this could be a great buying opportunity.

Even at that rate most people will be paying around $300 a month in interest and that’s with $20k down.

More than $20k in interest over the life of the loan.

CD’s even on short terms are hitting 5.25%. There was a bank last week giving 4.75% for new customers savings accounts both 100% safe.

You said amazing guaranteed returns which is much different than just an amazing return. 4.75% - 5% is an amazing guaranteed return with zero risk. Probably about as good as most people on this forum have seen in their investment life.

No I said 5% CD’s available which is an investment account. A 4.75% savings account Is an excellent way to park money in uncertain times waiting for a better play. Probably the best you’ve seen in your lifetime.

If you go to any reputable money managers 5% is what they realistically use for their long term examples.

Obviously when we don’t have an idiot in the Whitehouse you will do much better but they will always show you examples with the good and the bad. It’s not all roses every year unless you’re just a Monday morning quarterback internet investor.

It’s just not happening. The dealerships want to make it seem like everything is going for massive adm’s but they’re not.

Go to hp locator and punch in any of the sticker cars and if you k ow how many total were produced you will see almost none have sold. The dealerships think they are holding gold mines and they are trying desperately to convince the buying public but it’s not working.

Believe me they don’t want to hold onto them for any longer than they have to because there are carrying costs every month.
