Not sure I’d ever do nitrous but, i am liking them wheels.

Ad says they’re BC Forge custom. Anybody know who might own the rights to a custom design, customer or seller?

Also has a cam and ported heads
Eh, it's a bit pricey for all the mods. I generally don't see cammed nitrous cars as having any increased value. Especially when you're flirting between two factory car prices, one of which has a warranty and more power. For this reason, it would be a very tough sell at that pricepoint, as you can get a 2 year old used Hellcat for that price and still have the warranty.

All in all, kind of an odd mod. It's more like one of those, "I built it for myself" builds that makes little sense, except for the owner's wants. It's built right smack in the middle between the SP and HC, with a price equivalent to a 1-2yr old used HC. If it was built up more or had some sort of unique custom look to it, then I think someone could raise a premium.

I dunno, I'm more of a swing for the fences type of builder. I won't build a late model car if the price and performance of the build is similar to the stock top tier car in the model lineup. I either have to eclipse it in performance (while keeping the cost down near the competing model), or offer similar performance at a deep cost savings. The problem in this case is that the HC is actually hard to build over without costing more.

Aaaand, this one is also being sold by a dealership that had nothing whatsoever to do with the build. They have receipts and the like, but there's no way of telling if the work was a quality job or what issues or problems it might have. Modified builds are best done on the private market. At least you know the owner and can have a speed shop go over it before you buy it. If an owner unloaded it at a dealership, then they must not have had much faith in the build's ability to sell well for some reason.

BC Forged owns the rights to the design, the wheels are only custom in that they tailor the fit to your specific vehicle and/or request.

What’s funny is everyone always talks about buying a one or two year old used Hellcat because of the price…. I live About 40 miles North of Detroit and see how most of the used/leased Hellcats are driven ( in the news daily ) at least around here anyway I wouldn’t touch one unless I personally knew the owner of the car. They just seem to beat the s#1t out of them here. Maybe it is different in other parts of the country.

I don't buy used cars. Period. My wife does, but if the car is for me, it's new or GTFO. I don't trust other people.
