So got driver side plugs out. Look ok at least not burnt off. Put borescope in cylinders and no obvious damage. Did notice a little bit more skirt scarring in 7 im not sure if this is indicative of knock or not or normal. Motor has 25kish on it. Attempted leakdown in 7 and I didn’t have it in gear so it pushed the cylinder down and leaked. I’ll have a second set of hands tomorrow for full leakdown test and borescope pictures.

Someone reported him for something or a mod got a stick up their butt

I think all of the fired twitter moderators moderate hellcat.org now
I don't see every single post on here but I have seen you @Unholy707 complaining about the mods in different threads!

Sicktoo was reported over and over and over by many members for his nonsense posts and for attacking the Mods. I know he had been given many warnings by the mods.

Me, I openly post warnings! Just like I am now.

I suggest everyone in here take a look at the Guidelines for Hellcat.org or read them or read them again.

@khomes7 has the right idea, he joined Twitter to talk about whatever he wants to. Great Place for the Political comments.

Please understand, that this forum is here for those who want to find or give knowledge and information for our Hellcats including all the other Forum sections that are provided on here.

Have a Great Day!

Linda :)

Plugs look great. How was the leak down?
Cold with .028” ring gaps good at 3-4%, it hasn’t changed from the previous test before putting the Whipple on. I do have some bubbling around the intake valves 2 and 7 (I put WD 40 on top them to test for such when I leak down test) 21,000 miles, most likely the exhaust valves are doing the same (MMT is killer on valve seats both intake and exhaust even though I lapped them during the engine rebuild) it’ll get a valve proper 3 angle blended valve job when the heads get ported.

Very good. I’m almost afraid what mine look like at 60k especially with ingesting a lot of oil from leaky manifold gaskets - I hope the e85 kept things clean. Going to get a bore scope and see if I can check valve face when I go to check plugs

What do you use to measure TDC?

Get one of the Teslong articulated units from on Amazon, they’re GREAT!! I should have taken a few snap shots while I was looking in mine over the weekend, clearest low buck model I’ve ever used

What do you use to measure TDC?
A 3/8 wooden dowel 9” long dropped down the open spark plug hole. As soon as it stops moving stop rotation. With a Stick car just put it in 2nd, lock up E brake hard as possible, put chocks on both sides of tires. For a auto you have to get it bang on or it’s going to rotate, or get a helper to hold on tight to a ractchet-less breaker bar on the crank bolt to keep it from moving but watch the fingers as if it is let to drift off TDC it will take a finger off if sheared against the wrong thing in the engine bay, wear a heavy leather glove at the very least. (Another reason I HATE autos 😂)
