Folks, just remember that there is a very limited segment of the population that even want a Challenger/Charger Hellcat. As much as I like the car compared to to others, most Americans could care less. We are a select group who WILL get a car if you can remain patient. There will come a day that these will be available to purchase off the lot (yes I know its hard to fathom the thought, but it will happen). In time Ford will be producing a 700HP Mustang which to most Americans is a far more popular car and triples the sales of Dodges. GM will follow up with something for the Camaro
(its already in the works). The bottom line is simple, Dodge needs to capitalize while they can. Once the competition makes there specialty cars available things will change and you won't have people running around saying the sky is falling.. If this was a "very limited" car most everyday folks either wouldn't spend the money for this car or couldn't afford it because it would be priced to where only a select group of people would buy this car like celebrities or athletes.. So yes, this car is special because its the first of its kind, but let's chill out and let things happen. Its Winter for most of us anyway.. Oh and if you have a VON, that means nothing.. Its when you go to D status that means something. For people that gave deposits in "good faith" unless the dealer has an allotment, your not even in the order banks at Dodge..
