He knew of some of the things being said, so someone has informed him. He was still quoting being upset about untrue rumors about production numbers and other things people think are going on. I believe he has an understanding, but until they figure the madness out, they dont want to say something wrong. He quoted several times to please be patient things are coming together and we will get our cars. He mentioned specific engine parts that were holding back production. But i don't think i should quote them that might get some supplier or someone else pissed off. From speaking about my (our) concerns with him, i don't believe he has spoke with anyone else from the forums and he really did listen to what i was saying. I told him that i don't usually get this upset, but seeing dealers getting cars before the pre-sold orders has everyone fired up. He understood that, and replied that the allocation system was set up without expecting so many orders. He also stated that if they changed that midstream there could be legal consequences, but the dealers with cats sitting on lots overpriced and not sold, their number of days of unsold inventory will keep them off the allocation roster. I spoke of several because of the allocation process that has ordered in November and got their cars, and we are still waiting on vin's. I did get most of our issues out there to him, and i do believe he has a better understanding as to what his loyal customer base is pissed about. What happened to first come first serve? The insanely screwed up allocation system. This was a mistake and they know that, but don't expect them to fess up. All they can do is figure out how to correct it and crank out more cats.
