If all stays on schedule, my baby will be in on the 13th! I'm flying in on the 18th and taking her eastward.
If anybody has a secure garage anywhere in the area between Birmingham and Atlanta that I could rent for the night of April 18 I would greatly appreciate it.
I don't really trust hotel parking lots. I can sleep in the car (probably stay up all night playing with the goodies anyway). I would really like to put her away someplace safe î for her first night!

I'll know more tomorrow,after I route the drive on backroads to assist with break in. I'll send you a pm on Monday after I have a better idea of schedule and routing.

Benchmark is off I-459, just off Grants Mill Road. There are all sorts of fancy car dealerships out there. There are plenty of great backroads around there too. Grants Mill Road is one of the best in that area. You're only about 10 minutes from Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. The world's largest motorcycle museum. The Indy Car series races there the last weekend in April.
The dealership is about 2 miles from the I-20 exit (to Atlanta). I live in the opposite direction, toward Tuscaloosa. Let me know something on Monday. I'll be glad to help you in any way I can. Talk to you then.
