Pirelli 315/35-20? Do they really exist??

My first call to buy two of these from Discount Tire reveals they need to call Pirelli because they don't have any in N. America! Give me a break! So hey, posting this up, anyone know where two "Y" rated tires like this are at? I'll buy them NOW. I guess IF we find them we also have to buy into their run flat option also. I am good with all of that but hey Pirelli if you list a tire please make them available! I'll post up the results of the search later. If those don't work, we are looking into Michellin, but my problem with them is they don't make a 275/40 for the OEM front size. Any other size don't match the 315 ride height. Anyone have another sticky idea, because I have about $5000 in wheels coming to make this thing a sticky road machine.

I can't comment about them on my Hellcat... I have them on 13 Camaro SS. Unless it is warm weather... the Camaro simply blows them away when the boost hits ~3k RPM in the first 3 gears. So they aren't drag radials. Now when it is warm (and with suspension changes I made... solid bushings etc) the tires hold up well on the street. Haven't tried the strip yet.
View attachment 12563 Yes, well they are 12.75" wide also. Tire Rack sold me two on line. Very challenging to get to fit, but possible. ;)

So the photo is 315/35/ZR20 (106Y) tires on 10.5" custom made rims, correct? What was very challenging? Was it putting the tire on the rim or getting wheel well clearance? I like the look, do you have any 3/4 or side pictures to share as well? What was the offset on your wheels? Spacers? Stock ride height? The spec width for that tire appears to be 12.4 but you're suggesting it's wider? Your car looks great from behind. Thanks in advance!

Wheels are 27mm. Used a variety of spacers, did not matter, those tires ate my inner fender liners up. I believe if you get an effective 20 mm with a 10.5" wheel they may work. That was a couple of years ago. They looked pretty good, they worked like $hit. Nitto NT05 of that size, same deal, don't do it. Let me bring you to today, get a 295/35 or a 305/35 for the 10.5". The 315 is too big for 10.5". I use a Michelin 295/35 PS4S and so far have come within one tenth of a second of my best 0-60 with drag radials! Actually a 285/35 PS4S on an OEM 9.5" wheel has also given me a 3.6 second 0-60 with a low DA once!

It looked great.....

Pepe Le Pew Or you can go with an 11 inch rear rim from PK Auto Design (vendor here on site) that has an offset that fits 315's in the back with no rubbing and no spacers. I would post pics but my car is still in the shop getting worked on. There is a thread here: https://www.hellcat.org/threads/hel...forged-from-flames-created-by-passion.124377/ that has tons of pictures and information for those rims. For what it's worth I ordered a set with 315's for the rear just because the 11 wide rims would hold a 315 and not limit the contact patch like a narrower rim would.
