Ok so im about to spend roughly $10,000 on a set of forgeline wheels for my hellcat challenger, I plan on installing a set of phillips performance lil devil flares and will be having the wheels made to fit with the flares. Im trying to get as much extra tire as possible without rubbing (I plan on ocassionally road racing). I really dont want to screw up the wheel specs given how much im spending on them.

My question is, what is the widest wheel I can run without rubbing under any circumstances with the lil devil flares? My main concern is with the front wheels. I hear some people say 10, others say 10.5. The phillips perforamance website says 10 inch front is the max with a 6.5mm offset, but I hear of people running wider wheels than that on the front without the flares and not having issues.

If anyone has custom wheels made for lil devil flares, please share your wheel specs and whether or not your tires rub!

Any input is greatly appreciated

I went with the following with 0 modifications and 0 rubbing on stock suspension and little devils:
F: 20X10 w/295/35/20
R: 20X11.5 w/335/30/20

you can go 345 in the rears but will require modification to fit. My street tires are Michelin, which are wider than most other same spec tires.

you are welcome

If you've read many posts here, you'll realize that some cars are different than others; at least the Narrow Bodies. Secondly, what does Tire Rack or Discount Tire recommend? A lot of Chargers had trouble with the 315/35 Michelin PS4 on the back, but mine just rubbed a tiny bit after driving them for thousands of miles. Tire Automotive tire Leg Wood Grey

I'll post up pictures as soon as I can. just getting the flares out of paint today and I bought these michelin's from a forum member here. once I get all components here I'll mount them up. That said I have seen this exact same setup on another challenger and the owner claims to have had to do no modifications at all. that remains to be seen and I will let the all know.

Did you ever confirm what the offset should be with these flares? I want to do the same but don't want to deal with any rub issues.
I have posted what the backspacing should be for a 345 rear tire and 285 front tire.

Thanks Blkout, I just saw those in post #20. I'm trying to figure out the right combo keeping my satin black SRT y spoke wheels in the front with stock setup and buying 2 rear replicas to match. Then I can run my 275 stock up front, and go with 315/35/20 in the rear on 20x11 replicas y spokes. Just don't know what offset to use or shop for on the rears.

You wont be able to keep your stock wheels with the flares if you want it to look right, the largest spacer you can use safely is 6mm and it won't be enough to push your stock wheels out enough to look right. I mean, you can do it but you're defeating the purpose of the flares. Best to just get custom wheels that fit properly. I tried that combo and it won't look ideal. I can post pics in a few hours when I get home. These are pics after I traded the car in with the stock wheels in the front and factory repro's in the rear both with 6mm spacers.

What about Factory Repro's? Is there an option on their site with the proper offset to work with these flares?

No, even with spacers they will sit too far in. You can drive it that way, but it won't look great in my opinion. The flares are really designed to work with aftermarket wheels with custom backspacing.

you will rub with the factory repro's. they only offer +22 offset on the 11" wheels. But do the inner fender liner mod with a few simple tools and you'll have plenty of space. They won't fill out to the outer edge of the Flares, but you do end up getting 40 mm more tire. So it's a good half step until you get that full set of aftermarket wheels.
