Hey everyone, I have a 18 challenger and have decided to go with air ride for my suspension. I'm currently looking at a Airdemand Suspension kit and ill be doing the install myself.
I would appreciate everyone to post pics of your air ride setup and give your opinion of what you do and don't like about it.

Thanks Josh

Not a common item due to Hellcat owners liking the magnetorheological adjustment of their electronically-controlled suspensions.
I have not seen an air ride system that allows you to keep the electronic shocks.
I, for one, would prefer air ride IF it had limiters to alter ride height maxima. That way, regardless of pressure, I could have the same ride height.
Also, I'd like air for the springs, plus hydraulics for the ride height, AND the fancy shocks. Nothing provides springing like air.

They do have air ride setups with height sensors that will keep the car at a preset height (Airlift 3H setup), then with the press of a button, you can change it. The OEM's use height sensors to do this and the limits are set according to the height sensors settings (threading that sets how far up it can go).

When we had our SRT 392, I was going to do an Air Ride setup (3H with the height sensors since Accuair went out of business) just because it's the Ultimate ride for comfort and on the fly adjustability.

If I'm not mistaken, you can do a bag over coil setup and still keep the adjustable shocks. I might be wrong, but I'm almost positive that you can.

Bagged Challenger info (dated a bit because Accuair is out of business)...............

I almost did an Accuair system when I first got my car. Always wanted air ride and being able to hit the top height setting for pulling into parking lots and slamming when parked.
I just think a car like this is just too much HP for air ride. 17" MT tires get squirrely enough for me, I didn't want to spend all that cash and have regrets.

In the link that I posted above, you can see that air ride suspension can work just fine on a high horsepower automobile. The Charger runs in the nines.

9 Second Charger.................

Here it is a video of it at the strip running 9.83 along with a bit of info on the build. I think that shows how well it can work with a little effort.

The above Charger at the strip................

and also checkout @beefcake He's been running air ride on his highly modded drag cars for a long time. He'd also be a good contact for looking into air ride on your Challenger. He did it on a Scat Pack WB if I remember correctly

I am running an airlift kit on my 2021 vortech scat pack with a drag pack and it rides super well and looks even better.

@ivey_usmc hit me up and we can get you a kit going

I am interested in this as well. What happens to the active dampening system if you replace shocks and struts? I do not want lights lit up on the dash....

Like I said, you can do bag over coils which would use your original active struts/shocks. The air bags just fit over the top of the shocks.

Bag over coil bags.....................

This is the second part of the video (I believe that there are 4) and it shows the shock inside the bag as the video goes on. If you want a good, detailed guide to installing an air ride setup on a Challenger, then I'd recommend starting on part 1 and moving on from there.

I am running viking b383am in the rear with the airlift. Works great. Front you have to run the airlift strut. I didnt have any issues with light when we installed this system

Post a link, I do not see that brand anywhere.

I have been looking for a kit that keeps the factory struts/shocks....
I came up with this, waiting on them to let me know if these will fit on the billstein struts.

I have found that .
I hope their customer service over the phone is better than via email. Getting questions answered is like pulling teeth.
