Went for a drive today in Minnesota in my new PCP Cat with only 100 miles on it. (I couldn't resist, it was nice and dry) I kicked it down about 3/4 throttle at 60 mph and the rear tires let loose for several yards until it upshifted! WOW, glad I have wider rear wheels and tires on the way! VERY impressive power!!!!!:D

KoolKat another neighbor! So Suprcat you can draw a five mile line north, end of it is at KookKats place, I am midway between! There is a road near you, last fall while on a motorcycle ride I find the most interesting display of "power" as you say ......

Welcome to the Forum! Speedman also reports he took the Cat for a walk this afternoon. I could do it Saturday. PM if you want I have to drive about through Prior Lake (Savage) to Burnsville to get to our offices when I am in town. I would love to see a PCP unit, have not seen one yet.

Dude you must run in rare air over there. Post up in the Minnesota thread sometime when you are planning to go and we can ask around and have a party over there. Got a boat? We may need a few walleye for the grille.

David, where is that stretch of road? Looks like all of us will need to coat that tarmac with rubber!
When I see you in person it is easy to explain. On the internet not so good of an idea. We can be there after a drive on a nice new super highway from my house. But, damn it is quite a drive to Mexico and back from Chanhassen!

That overlay out there does suck for traction. Just a few real good times out there. More spinning times than not. I have done an 11.3 a couple of times. Shot a few 3.6 to 3.8 0-60's. My best was a nice piece of concrete in Iowa on my drag radials last year. Got one more tenth! We need to hunt some concrete or set a team on a certain concrete road that we know well to watch things for about 15 seconds or so when the pavement gets hot. Better yet attend one a private event or test and tune Wednesday at BIR and stomp them on the quickest piece of concrete in the world.
