Had my fuel pump changed under warranty back in november and right after got a check fuel cap light but no codes. Made sure cap was tight and finally had to pull fuse to reset light. Has been 1500 miles and gas cap light came back on along with po456 code. Changing cap didn't help. I'm going to start checking for loose connections and hoses. Something I want to check is this evap pump. Another member posted this fixed his but I got no response when I asked where this is located. Anybody tell me where this is?https://www.hellcat.org/cdn-cgi/ima...8a8e-5df1-478b-8739-8ec04b665ab2-jpeg.578268/ Also probably pull back seat and check connections there.

He stated this is what he saw when he pulled the "wheel well " cover. But did not say if it was front or back, inside or out? Kinda looks like somewhere in the back. Thanks!

I believe it’s the drivers side rear interior wheel well between the trunk and inner well. Have no idea how to get to it but I’d be willing to let you use my Sawsall.

LOL, thanks but I have one! Actually I am going to pull the left rear wheel, pull back the liner and check the fill hose clamps and go from there.

When you have a failure right after something changed, it's usually related.

That would make me think the seal was not replaced properly when the fuel pump was replaced.
The slow pressure/vacuum leak would make the computer think the fuel cap is loose.

That's what I'm thinking now. I filled the tank after the fuel pump change and the cap light came on. I double checked it was on correctly and even changed the cap. gas cap light would not go out and finally reset pulling fuse. Been okay for a couple months and back with the code this time.

Well I found and fixed the problem! Vent line ties into the fill hose by cap. Not saying the dealer did this on fuel pump change or not but the clip was in the open position and the pic shows how I found it . I believe it was loose when the first fuel cap light came on and completely apart when I got the P0456/457 codes. This was the first area I looked at so pretty easy fix. Pulled the wheel and wheel liner and there it was! Put it all back together and fuel cap light went off in 15 minutes. I cleared the other codes.
