I would just bite the bullet and get down there asap. They are being aholes and may
1) Have buyer(s) already waiting in line that they told, that you have two days to pay or it goes to them, and/or
2) There's no way in hell I'd want that car sitting on the lot or even in the showroom. It will be the next car you see on a surveillance video being driven out of the dealer by thieves. and/or
3) There's is damage they dont want you to see til it gets delivered and they can blame the transporter.

And yes I am a glass-half-broken kind of guy.

My car was just delivered, 2 weeks early. I've already made arrangements to fly down (I'm in Texas and the dealership is in south Texas) and do the paperwork and such. But the dealership is telling me they need all funds in their possession and cleared within 48 hrs. I had no intention to sign all the forms and such over the internet and intended to do that in person. Is this what other have experienced when buying from an out of state dealer?
Now I'm debating flying down Saturday and just driving the car back. I do not want to pay for the vehicle sight unseen (I'm sure some people do such) and then wait for the few days for the transport company to pick up the car.
Feels like the dealership is ultimately trying to screw me, keep my deposit and then flip the car for more.
I agree with njsteve. I would get there as soon as possible and get done. I wouldn't buy sight unseen for sure. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks. It’s as I’d hoped. I felt like TorRed was going to be the best color.

No, I’m going to swap out the spoiler with the black SRT performance spoiler, I was going to add some side skirts to help protect against rock chips but I’m having second thoughts.
I would for sure get the splash guards and side skirts with the wide body. We drove our Super Stock not even 400 miles and the flares were already showing the results of road rash...

Im going to be driving back my widebody next weekend (800 mile drive). Already have the splash guards, likely going to get the side skirts as well and take them with me to install before leaving the dealership. Also going to use some painters tape on the crucial areas.

I put the rock guards on before I picked it up and wrapped it in track armor. I don’t think I’m going to do the side skirts. Drilling into the body…I don’t know just runs me the wrong way.

Dropping off at the detailer Sunday for paint correction (paint IMHO is much better this year), C Quartz Finest Reserve and PPF. I’m just going to run a strip of PPF across the bottom below the door.

Ordered a non allocation order? Did you get a deal similar to Chapman in that case?
Better. We will see, we have a plan and that’s about all I can say.

Truthfully I’d say probably 50% chance to get built.

I hope it gets built. Why do you think 50% chance? I would think much lower.
Could be but I’m hopeful based on conversations. I don’t really want to elaborate because I don’t wanna jinx it 😂
