Can anyone confirm if the power chiller will operate with the hood open ?

Yep, mine does. 2019 Redeye.
Hood open or shut my Chiller is on as long as it's in Track mode with engine running.

Can anyone confirm if the power chiller will operate with the hood open ?

I forget what it is called but what it does it holds the hood button down so you can open your hood when the car is running. I'm sure if you look it up you'll find it. So right now with my car running I can open my hood and it still reads in the computer that the hood is closed.
