Just put on some Power stop brakes. Easy install. Followed the break in procedure and they seem perfect just like factory. The amazing thing though is when I got back home I took my finger and wiped all over the wheel and on the inside of the wheel. Absolutely no brake dust I mean none. With the factory pads the wheels would have been coated with half as much braking. Best $80 bucks I’ve ever spent.

I have read a bunch of threads most of them older. It is truly amazing the difference.
Did you remove the black paint from the sides of all friction pucks prior to installing? This prevents any possibility of low-speed brake noise/squeal.

Did you do all 4 corners?

It makes one wonder why the factory couldn't produce a similar product to the Powerstop.

I’m not for sure about the black paint? I didn’t see anything in the instructions about removing black paint. The brakes are quiet as can be. Just did the front. I have not noticed any dust from the rear. I will probably do the rear in the future.

None of the brake manufacturers know of or will acknowledge that the black paint on the sides of friction pucks cause low-speed brake noise, but it does. Thus, no instructions to do so.

Should do all 4 corners; not good to mix friction compounds on a vehicle.

Not trying to disrespect anyones choices but those particular pads are not nearly the performance equal to the Brembos. I’ve tracked them both and can attest to that. The O.E. Brembo pads are my go-to on track days. I love that I can find cheap Brembo pads online from guys who are selling them after switching to Powerstop 😁. I almost rear-ended a guy on the interstate once when needing to do a high speed panic stop. The Powerstop pads just wouldn’t bite hard enough.

^^ I don't track/race my car but I drive aggressively on the street and I agree with this. I like the Power Stop Z26 pads + won't go back to the Brembo pads.
BUT
Z26s don't bite nearly as hard initially, less confidence for me. Not the same feel at all.
The Z26s are so smooth feeling on the street, almost no dust and have not developed (yet!) the damn pulsing that I keep getting with the Brembo pads.

For my driving (street) Power Stop pads are staying on.

Ps- I followed Blickie's instructions installing the new Z26 pads to a T- brakes are quiet, smooth. As they should be, hopefully for a long time.

No one’s tracking these (i hope). Theyre for street use with no dust.
Ive had three Challengers with these now. Perfectly smooth, same crazy initial bite for me, no fade yet on three Challengers. You would need to be heating these up to road course temps to get a real noticeable performance drop. For me there has been literally no downside.

Prob because of liability. Some people take these cars right to the track. The Brembos are much better there.

Nope sure didn’t know about this but I don’t remember seeing any black paint on the edge of the pad material. Well if they start making noise then I’ll know what is causing it. Thank you for the info.

Mine don’t make slow speed noise and they don’t have the paint referenced either.
