The Options

Touring Edition Exhaust

The Touring Edition is a full 3” straight-through stainless steel catback configuration capable of delivering optimal power while remaining drone-free throughout the entire rev range. Featuring a precision-engineered H-pipe and AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®, the Touring Edition delivers deep, rich exhaust notes that coax you to redline.

Catering to the feigns of big power, the Touring Edition features engineered provisions to accommodate larger, high performance driveshafts and differentials.

Perfect tone, compliments of AWE 180 Technology®.

As exhaust gases exit the 6.2L and 6.4L engines and flow into an AWE 180 Technology® equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies. More on AWE 180 Technology® in the tab above.

Important fitment notes:

The Touring Edition Exhaust is available as non-resonated or resonated. We recommend the non-resonated variant for vehicles equipped with the factory headers. If your Challenger is equipped with aftermarket headers, we recommend going resonated. Have stock headers but planning to go aftermarket later? No worries, you can swap in the resonated mid sections with ease via an AWE Resonator Conversion Kit. Hit us here if you’re in need of this conversion kit.

Track Edition Exhaust

For those who like it raw and rowdy, the Track Edition is for you. The Track Edition shares the same integrated H-pipe and precision engineering as its Touring Edition counterpart, minus AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®.

In place of the 180 Technology® resonator in the rear lies a Track Edition straight section. As a result, this version is known to get (really) rowdy in mid range acceleration and deceleration, and may be too much for many. Due to this reason, AWE Track Edition Exhausts cannot be returned based on sound preference. You’ve been warned.

Conversion kits:

We made it easy to convert between Track and Touring Editions if you decide at a later date to change your volume.

Tip Options:

The Touring and Track Edition Exhausts are available with quad 4” double-walled slash-cut tips in either diamond black or chrome silver, as well as fitments to retain the OEM tips.

What’s in the box?

Complete Touring or Track Edition Exhaust, four 4” slash-cut tips in desired finish (if applicable), and all necessary hardware for installation.

We put one on a heavy hitting street car. Still sounds great with headers and catless mids:

I'm getting a lot of DM's from guys wondering how it is to live with the track edition exhaust? I swapped the Resonated Track Edition onto our Hellcat and drove around this afternoon and was really impressed with it's ability go full, block clearing rowdy while being fairly civil on the highway. We had no problem having a conversation at highway speeds. Reach out to HHP or DM me with any questions.
Here's a closer look at fitment on some more modified setups:

**Full disclosure, that's my Redeye in the pics/vids.

I've lived with it about 2 months now, and can say that I absolutely love it. My Mustang friends hate me now even more than they already did.

NO DRONE AT ALL... none, whatsoever. Fantastic on the highway. Great sound anywhere, and you'll be addicted to the sound on downshifts. Turns heads anywhere.

I was able to tour the facility in Horsham beforehand, and was IMPRESSED. These folks care about what goes into their product, R&D was top-notch, and their onsite experts were great resources for questions. I chose the non-res Touring suite, and I'm 100% set.

Here's a quick vid my son took of a cold start:

So sexy.
The "no drone" part is big, to me.

That Redeye picked up a substantial amount of power across the board, and even more torque. I call that "free" horsepopwer. No mods, no injectors, no pumps, no PCM, just freer-breathing. It has to result in more mpg, too.
What do you do with the adjustable exhaust valves since this exhaust appears to not use them?

We provide simulator brackets that bolt to the valve motor, and are tucked away. They operate normally and keep the ECU happy.

It looks like there's a conversion kit to go between resonated and non-resonated, so would it be possible to order the resonated touring edition exhaust and also a set of non-resonated mid pipes to swap out if I wanted? I ask because I want to try a set of off-road pipes with this exhaust but if there's too much resonation with the non-resonated pipes, I want to be able to use the resonated pipes.

What's the price on a resonated touring exhaust and a set of non-resonated conversion pipes?

What's going on @Blkout? Thanks for your questions. Yes, you could order either the non-resonated and resonated mids with either Touring or Track edition systems, and then order the other one separately.

For pricing, I'm going to ask you to send an email to John Voss - [email protected] .
