I recently purchased a factory clutch takeoff that is brand new. How do I determine if the unit is balanced? I see a couple of colored dots on the pressure plate and a yellow dot on the flywheel. How do these line up? What is the relation between the dots?

Considering you can buy those separate and "should" be neutral balanced, I doubt it matters. I would keep inspecting though.

They are not balanced as a set.
