I'm needing to make a kill switch for my car 2016 Challenger Hellcat. Everyone knows that pulling fuse 31 for a few minutes supposedly resets the PCM. I'm thinking
of wiring this fuse on a switch, and run it under the dash.
Will the car not start if this fuse is pulled?
Will it damage anything if its tried to start while its pulled?
If anyone has come up with a good "kill method" please let me know. I'm aware that if they want it bad enought nothing will stop them.
But anything slowing them down is gonna work in my favor.

Your kill switch is useless buddy waste of time.

Remove and relocate the neutral tow strap cable to the area behind your dash bezel. Keep the mechanism in its place near the shifter only relocate the cable.
purchase a reliable proven steering wheel club
Purchase a wheel lock boot for one of the tires
Install a shock alarm.

90% of thefts go like this
Your car is spotted by thief’s and likely stalked without your knowledge in hopes to it being parked outside of the garage on the street or driveway. Thief’s come back at night 2am-5am and blow out the rear right window with a brick and instantly take off. They come back around 20 minutes later to verify no one was alerted to the sound of the glass breaking. Thief #1 is dropped off next to your car while thief #2 waits down the block with likely another stolen car. Thief #1 enters your car through the window and pulls down the rear headliner to cut/disconnect the GPS and cellular antennas and pulls the tow strap near the shifter essentially putting your car into neutral and rolls the car down your driveway. Thief #2 comes back down the block and gently pushes the car silently away to a alley parking lot or dark area not patrolled by police or someplace out of sight. The thief’s leave the area and the car for 20 minutes and come back on foot while they wait for the key programmer to come program a new key. Other possibilities include key cloning and key programming on sight. These thief’s are FAST on foot always gloved up and masked up professionals armed and BRAZEN.

Thats not at all how it happened for me, and how the Dallas Auto theft team described how it happens. They did not follow or stalk me at all. They cruised the parking lot of a nice restaurant, where the car was parked right out front. They pulled up, a smaller guy prys the dirvers glass out, then bends it down, jumps in and uses their device (NFC master) to start it and go. All in 30 seconds. If it takes any longer than that, the haul ass. in which case my kill switch would work perfectly, they are not going to sit there and try to figure it out. Now, if parked in a desolate area, where no one is around thats a different story. I can't think of one time I've parked anywhere like that in decades.

Ravelco!!
I was looking at that, I may do this. but someone just PMed me the perfect solution, for $30 and a lil bit of DIY work. No system is perfect, but for my needs, I simply don't park anywhere that ...if they took over 3-5 minutes, they'd have security on them. Say what you will but a cleverly placed kill switch?.....They are NOT going to spend the time searching for it, NOT in any places that I park.

This. On another site a member named Hellraisin has video of thieves NOT pushing/pulling/towing his car away. They broke into the car and programmed a new fob. In fact, they blocked his car with a Durango to hide it from the video camera until it was ready to be driven away. So in this case, a kill switch IS helpful. Maybe not infallible, but it certainly would've added to the time needed to take his car.

Exactly.....thats all I need revelco is awesome, and If I had to park at places like the airport ? that would be the only way to go, but for my needs this $28 kill switch kit is perfect. I've not had to "park at the airport" so to speak in over 20 years...i'd uber it now, BUT, on RARE occasions that have not happened in decades I do park in a desolate area? Easy enough to just pull SEVERAL fuses and put in my pocket....and save $570 not geting revelco

Had a kill switch put on early this year. Just peace of mind when I go to a restaurant or a movie. It will not stop the pros with a flatbed, just the joy riders and select low lifes. It disables the starter solenoid. Paid $150

It was NOT joyriders that took mine, sure you "could" flatbed it, but, places I go?.....I don't see that happening.

See the 2 minutes 14 second mark

yeah I only wish I could of done that to the car thieve...they cops found it at perfect time, they bandits had REPLACED my window, and detailed that car. They were ALMOST ready to VIN swap.
they also took off some custom work I'd done...nothing major and I was tired of it anyway, i had constructed a spring loaded flap on the dirvers grill over the air filter to force air in lowered temps 22 deg. NOW the idiots at the shop examining it, have had it a week and a half and not even started it yet! They KNEW when I came in, it needed reprograming to my keys, and they could not do it. They should of got the Dodge/key/computer guy in....get her going while it waits for people at shop before me....oh no. They say they;ve examined it....uh? HOW? you've not started it! Looks like they and insurance want me to live with the glass the thieves installed!! I said...OK....no problem, you put your stamp of approval and warranty it...NO problem. theoretically I should of had it back last thrusday.
