UPDATE ISSUE FIXED
It was a lose ground on the sort of top of the transmission right above the starter. The nut vibrated lose from all the track passes and driving in general I’m assuming. I was just kind of re-checking everything again/pulling on wires to see if anything was lose and sure enough. Thank you all again for your suggestions.

Recently had the battery and alternator replaced and have been driving the car for about 2 months with no issues. Took the car to the track one night and after 3 passes it wouldn’t start. I sat there for about 40 mins before the car magically started again. Battery was NOT hot and my voltage was right where it’s supposed to be so I don’t think it’s a battery issue. Took the car home and did multiple starts with it and it starts up fine like nothing even happened. Now today I start up the car to go get gas, starts up just fine on the first try, but now the car is having the same issue not starting when I turned it off at the gas pump. Any help is appreciated

Lose wire somewhere probably. Check whatever was replaced.

Old days - switch, relay, or solenoid… if everything looks ok (batt terminals, wires, etc)

These days, once all obvious possibilities have been eliminated - good fregin luck!

How is your FOB battery?

We all learned (2015) back when they all expired at the same time

Checked all grounds/wiring and everything is secure

Long list of modifications, but I’ve had them on the car for about 2 years now. All three key fob battery’s I tested and are good.

Going to test the starter relay and inspect the starter. All the wires/terminals are secure and nothings loose.

After sitting there for about 25mins the car started right up like nothing even happened. Battery light was on the entire ride home but voltage was right where it needed to be sitting at 14. Still haven’t found the issue but going to try testing the starter relay and go from there

It’s the ole hot re-start issue agent 99…several mixed threads on this with nothing definitive on a fix, throw it at your dealership

The starter is on the wrong side of the car : )

Do the 392’s do this shit too?

Both times I've had this similar issue, it turned out to be the positive terminal on the jump point under the hood (junction box or whatever it's called).

Yes, recheck everything that was touched by the repair person; and then some....

Please define: "wouldn't start".

Do you mean you push the button and nothing happens (dead)? Turns over slowly? Turns over normally and won't fire? Other?

Did you have recent mods....like a throttle exchange?
