I recently bought a 16 hellcat challenger and it only came with a black key. What are the steps I need to take in order to get a red key programmed and where can it be done at, only a dodge dealership?

You can buy them on Ebay if you want to save a buck or two, just be sure they're oem. Dealer still needs to program them though.

Just make sure he reprograms all three to a new a different code since those other two are still out there. You should also have the door tumbler changed since the metal key inside the missing FOBs can be used to get in the car. Hope you got a really good deal as this missing key bs is highly suspicious imho.

Real lock smith can program them, Had mine done for $108 AS the dealer was over $200 and two weeks out !!

I wouldn’t get fob at one place and get them programmed elsewhere. Get a dealer or other shop to supply and program 2 new red fobs and then you can throw away the black one.
The metal keys you can get anywhere and have them cut anywhere.

Really ?? why throw the black one away ?? Makes a SWEET dirt/mud/rain/snow key !! Ours made it home just fine with 797 key in the rain as I know how to drive.

WE NEVER LET anyone drive with red key.............

Yes have three keys. lost on in the car so hd the lost one deleted. Now gonna add it next week as I found it........

As you know 2 reds and 1 black is stock. Lady was like MAYBE 20 minutes to add my 2 and delete the 3rd so I can have 500 level back..............
