Issue resolved If you do not have a widebody/1320/redeye or demon, which came with the "redeye/demon" axles from the factory, you can order these axles through Mopar Direct Connection under the part number: 77072535AB. They come as a pair and will not require proof of widebody/1320/redeye/demon ownership.

Hey all, so I recently ordered some redeye axles..The vendor is informing me the part number is a demon restricted part and they are requesting proof of ownership of a redeye ( I assume WB HC would also work) consisting of a picture of the VIN plate, registration and a 3/4 view of the vehicle. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

Since the part number for the axles is shared for the redeye and Demon, it's a restricted part number apparently. Such a PITA lol

Scat Pack Widebody and even the Scat Pack 1320 also use those same axles.

I understand that. This is whats being asked from Steve White parts (Dodge Dealer) in order to get the parts. I assume any proof of ownership with a vehicle equipped with the same part number/axles would probably work.. I'm assuming they think they are going on a redeye for some reason. My Hellcat unfortunately is just a narrow body 2016 hellcat challenger..

@DodgeCares - Ya'll need to get your act together as a company as this is getting beyond ridiculous. Figure it out already. The part the OP is asking for is even advertised in your direct connection catalog. Their shows no "restrictions" on the part. If their is a restriction on the part, your catalog does not show any birdseed page drivers showing as such. SMDH.... restriction on axles that are available on all widebody cars (non-RE too) as well as scat packs. Sorry if I'm coming off as an ASS but I'm just about Fed up with Dodges complete and utter incompetence here. You lie to people for years about being able to buy an M6 car brand new and then this whole direct connection stuff is feeling like another big lie as you can't buy any of it but yet you advertise that crap out of it. As a marketing manager, I would start firing A LOT of people in my organization for this type of continual incompetence.

Years ago Ford was the same way with a possibility of 2 part numbers- Manufacturing/Ford part number and the Ford Motorsport/Ford Performance part number for the same exact parts.
Two different sets of books.
You can’t buy certain parts through the dealer because of restrictions but you can buy them from Ford Performance thru Summit or Jegs.
The pricing is completely different on the parts too.

I honestly surprised Steve White is this dumb. Of ALL the people they should know you can order the same part right through Direct Connection.

I called them after noticing my order was canceled and they are not a power broker/direct connection dealer, even though they probably sell more parts/performance parts than most dealers. They seemed just as frustrated with the whole issue and how it doesn't make any sense.

If there is a Mopar part number any dealer should be able to sell the part.

I agree! I mean I would understand if all the parts on the Demon were exclusive to it but when parts are used across many other trim levels, its pointless.

Yeah just order them through Direct Connection under the 77072535AB part number. They come in a pair under the Direct Connection part number.
