I do believe Sport is full power, power chiller/fans normal, suspension firm, traction control lets you spin until/unless you get too sideways then it attempts to save you. So more for road racing aka bendy things.
Track mode, when you switch it on you will hear it and when i first did smell it, full power, power chiller cooling your intake charge, fans full, suspension setup to transfer full weight back(unless/until you pedal it, then it firms back up to save you), now this part i am fuzzy on as far as traction control goes. Traction control may be off off in track mode meaning the electronics will not attempt to stop you from wrapping around a telephone pole. Or, more than likely it may be in a more permissive mode than sport? Someone else may chime in here? I know in my SCAT for Nitrous runs I had to be in sport or track and hold my traction control button for 5 seconds until it chimed to manually turn it to off/off. (If you are spraying N20 and the computer cuts fuel trying to prevent you from wrapping around a pole big booms happen)

Again its your car and you can drive it like you stole it, but if you have never been down a 1/4 mile I would start in black key 500HP get a few runs to figure it all out. Then step up to red, auto then sport, then track.

When you are in track full traction control off you are in your Lords hands not Dodges anymore.

My understanding as that sport mode is for drag setup (helps keep you going straight) and track mode is for road courses (lets you drift), and that in track mode traction control is still not completely off, just very minimal.

Maybe for the Red Eyes or Jail Breaks but FCA says different...

"Track mode within the SRT Drive Modes on the SRT Super Stock activates a revised shock tuning for the drag radials " AKA max weight transfer back.

Track has one meaning for the SS, 1/4 mile NO CURVES :)

Oh you are good then run her in full track mode... Hell try both and see what works for you? I plan on it Friday at the track too.

11.1 was my best in my SCAT as well on a 200 Shot of n2o.

Traction: sport
Trans: track or sport
Suspension: street
Steering: Whatever

You can set the Power Chiller independent of whatever mode you're in.

That's your optimal drag setup on a non-SS/1320.
mine is a SS. Does that matter ?

Yes, because track in your car is a drag mode. It's not a turning mode like the rest of the Hellcats/Redeyes. For our cars, we use street because that mode gives the most suspension travel (squat). In yours, it's track. At least that's what the documentation says.

I’ve never had my SS in sport or track, just street. It’s my daily and I run red key 100% of the time. Coming from an SRT-8 425HP ‘08…it’s more power than I’ll ever need. I switched from drag radials to Nitto G2’s in the same size, which still hook up well. This car’s insanely quick. Test drive a NB 19 Redeye…was ******* insane too. Couldn’t tell them apart, just couldn’t work out the right deal on the Redeye, so bought a new SS. Whatever mode you do, be careful. I’m in awe every time I jump on it.

With an SS, if you're not using track mode, you're just driving a plain old Redeye. That car's sole purpose for existing is the special drag enhanced track mode that no other Hellcat sans the Demon has.
