EVO, Driver Mod TV, and many more teamed up in a Huracán-vs.-Hellcat (A8) comparison test! The best an American ever got in a magazine (Car and Driver or Motor Trend) was 11.7 seconds, and the Germans at Auto Bild achieved 11.67 seconds. The British? Teamed up in Mexico with a 10.9-second quarter-mile!

Car and Driver (Hellcat A8 | Huracán)
0-60 mph: 3.6 sec | 2.5 sec
1/4-mile: 11.7 sec | 10.4 sec

Motor Trend (Hellcat A8 | Huracán)
0-60 mph: 3.7 sec | 2.8 sec
1/4-mile: 11.7 sec | 10.6 sec

Auto Bild (Hellcat A8 | Huracán)
0-100 kph: 3.9 sec | 2.9 sec
1/4-mile: 11.67 sec | 10.65 sec

EVO Magazine (Hellcat A8 | Huracán)
0-60 mph: 3.3 sec | 3.4 sec
1/4-mile: 10.9 sec | 11.1 sec

I love how EVO and Driver Mod weren't even using a dragstrip to record the quickest run a stock Chally Hellcat has EVER done in a magazine! It also won 6 out of 6 races (including 20+mph street-rolls).

For more info:
+EVO was the magazine which allowed +Driver Mod TV recorded the video and…

am I missing something? So one person does a bad 0-60 and 1/4 time in the Huracan so now the Hellcat is faster? It's the same as saying Tesla is faster because of that 1 drag race where the owner purposely did a 1/8th mile burnout for a show.

Pretty sure if I dropped my car off at a mechanic and they took it out drag racing.....then were stupid enough to put it on the Internet and even state they "stole a customers car", there'd be an entirely different set of questions to answer other than, "who's faster".

The Huracan is for sure quicker and faster stock to stock. I was at the track with a friend last Saturday with his bone stock Huracan (including tires) and my stock A8 hellcat (only mod are MT drag radials on stock wheels) and he went 10.78 at 130.9 vs my 10.87 at 126.8. He was only cutting 1.80 60 fts but there's several Huracans that have been 1.6s which would put him in the 40's or 50s (headed back to the track with him soon to prove that). You can tell by the MPH difference that they have more to work with.

Here's a video of one of his passes:

Our Hellcats have more HP and TQ than the lambo, so it would be a different story on the freeway. And we can take the $190,000 we saved and make our cars lambo killers!

I would run one. What the heck. Why not.

Make a good story wouldn't it.
They are never around except during Saratoga racing season during the summer
