So, my wonderful wife said i could buy quickjack lifts for my B-day. Unfortunately the 7000EXT are currently out of stock. But they sent me the hydraulic pump, hoses, and all the lifting accessories. So I assembled all the hoses and decided to make a cart to hold everything. I think it is just the right amount of OCD/crazy 😜.
The plywood on the top shelf has holes in it that the feet on the pump assembly fit in, this will keep it from moving around.

I ordered the STX, or whichever is the shorter 7000 model, just last week. It should arrive at H. Depot this coming Thursday. Can't wait. Interesting idea with the cart, I had not considered that...

It is a harbor freight cart, and not sure if the hydraulic pump assembly will stay on the top shelf, as it will fit fine on all three shelves, will have to see what works best when I get to actually lift the car.

If everything is accessible I’d mount the pump as low as possible to keep the hoses as low, and long, as possible, and keep the center of gravity of the cart low.

No problem then. In the North, the hoses resist uncoiling winter, like a frozen garden hose, I have to hang them so they are mostly straight.

Are you going to paint the cart to match your car?:)

Haha. thanks for watching out for me on the hoses. any suggestion on type of ATF or hydraulic fluid. i know they give several options but wanted to use what is best for the unit and longevity.

That trick never works, the best go first (like puppies). He already has the pick of the litter!

As far as oil, only the best! (Cheapest they had!)

I figure the pump will run maybe 15min/year. Can’t imagine the fluid will ever break down. Nothing approaching a A8 duty cycle!
