I have a question for the fellow members out there that have and use a quickjack. I just purchased one for myself and have received everything but a few additional accessories that I ordered with it. I have unpacked and completed the setup process. I have bled the system completely it seems as I get no more air out of the bleeder valve. What I am finding though is that the jacks start dropping as soon as I release the "up" button. I never have to push the "down" button. Of course you do not raise it very high to go through the bleed process but this has me hesitant about trying to actually raise my vehicle. I know instructions for lifting state to raise the lift, stop and insure proper placement of lift blocks and then lift vehicle. With what I am seeing it appears the lift will not hold in place long enough to check block placement. Is this normal? I am also afraid that when I lift that I will not be able to safely reset the stop arms when I go to drop the vehicle. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Not normal. Had mine for years now, it did that once. Not good, the car was even loaded on it. When I looked at the unit, one of the connectors was taking a dump and hydraulic fluid was leaking out.

Just set one up yesterday myself. Not normal. Did you order the 5000 SLX Bundle from Costco, great deal. My shipment didn't have the wall hangers. I'm told they are coming but will ship separately by Costco.

I purchased a 7000SLX through them and then ordered the extensions and other accessories from quickjack. Have several vehicles and wanted to be able to use on all of them.

@BarnCat707HP I’m late to the party and wondering which model QJ you’ve got and if the length is sufficient. Thanks.

I have the 5000EXT, and it is too short to reach the 2 lift pucks on my CAT, it's just a little too short, so I use either the front puck rear pinch weld combination or just both pinch welds with the ZR1 pinch weld blocks with the rubber blocks supplied with the Q-jack

So you think the reach on the 7000ext would work for my Challenger? I could use the extra length and weight capacity for my wifes suv anyway.

I would take a measurement of the lift points that you want to use, go on the QJack web site and see what they have or give them a call.
Maybe someone with a set of the 7000ext could chime in?
