I was on the fence about using RaceDeck vs Epoxy Flooring but after a few weeks of deliberations, I went with RaceDeck and couldn’t be happier. Install was simple and straightforward. Cost was half of Epoxy garage flooring lake havasu. If you do order, mention you’re a Garage Journal Member and you it gets really good pricing.

Looks great! I’ve been considering it but I would think a piece of plywood would be required beneath a set of jack stands to prevent blowing through the tiles. Thoughts?

Is it just eye-candy? Because it definitely looks really cool. I like the look, for sure.

But is there supposed to be a practical benefit? I don't see what that would be.

What about jack stands biting into it? How does a floor jack roll across it?

Second to last pic shows my jack stand hack. I had some tiles left over that I use as "pads" for the jack stands.

Its more resistant to petroleun oils and chemicals so it has a purpose other than looks.

I'd be down for this if the manufacturer would make custom tiles that would assemble like a giant 20' x 30' puzzle. For example, send them the dimensions of your floor, and a digital image of a wizard on a flying unicorn. They make the tiles with that image. You assemble your custom tiles...and voil'a your garage is now the place to host D&D night.

Love the look and jealous of the uncluttered garages! Do you attract more dust/debris then concrete or is it antistatic? Not worried about the HC side but the daily drive SRT GC side. I don't want to feel the need to dust mop daily!

Yes, uncluttered is so nice. I'm currently transforming my garage from a cluttered, multipurpose, utilitarian garage to essentially a shrine to my Charger. Not doing tiles though.

I wanted a race deck but, but if you spill all kinds of fluid all the time on the floor as I do, you get this nice grayish metallic look that requires little maintainence, just don’t use fluid catch pans when servicing your vehicles

Can't you get mosaic ceramic tiles ordered to do just that? (in whatever size you like for whatever level of definition you wish.)
