HJC makes the best bang for buck helmets IMO, had a few when I rode motorcyles. You really don't need much else besides maybe a fire-suit but thats only if you run in a certain class or speed in 1/4 mile.
I would the HJC that the whole front lifts up, not just a visor. Helps prevent fogging. or you can do the shaving cream trick on the inside of the visor, either way fogging will be an issue inside a car.
