Hi, just curious if anyone has tried these raybestos pads #SP1405XPH. They sound like they will work well. I'm running the Powerstop pads now on my 21 HC WB. I'm just not impressed, they work ok, but nowhere near as good as the brembos. Trying to not destroy the rotors and keep the dust to a minimum ( I know, hard to have both!).

Are you using the Z23 or Z26 pads? Tracking or daily? I just changed out the Brembos for Powerstop Z23's, haven't been pushing them but they, so far, have performed well. When I first installed last week there was a little slip right when coming to a stop, like when you wash your car and the rotor is still wet. It stopped after about three or four days. I had also changed out the rotors for Powerstops because one of my fronts was damaged so that may also be a difference. The Z26's are made for performance driving so don't perform as well as the Z23's for a daily. My rims though are much happier w/o all the dust, will post pics when I changed the rears out and wash it.

Z23s. I daily the car. The pads work ok. Just not as good as the brembos (of course). The brake pedal just doesn't feel the same after the Brembo removal.

I had the Z23 and the Z26 and while both were nice, I did think the Z26 was the better option of the two for daily driving.

I've used the Raybestos EHT1405 and they are like the Powerstop Z26 pads. They are a Hybrid Ceramic Carbon and have very low brake dust. The 1405 XPH are metallic, more of a track pad.
I figured they might be a little too 'track' being metallic. Probably similar to the factory Brembos (hard on the rotors and dusty). Curious if anyone actually uses them. I might just try the Z26s to see if there's a difference from the Z23s.

I'm curious why? The only difference between the two is the Z23 has a rubber coated backing plate vs a SS one on the Z26. The pad material is exactly the same.
Wondering if that rubber backing can make the pedal feel a little more spongy and pad bite a little less grabby?

The z26 in my opinion has a better bite than the Z23. Both worked for everyday driving. I tracked it once just to test them when we first started selling them, I quickly decided they were best for daily driving usage.
Yeah, I had the Z23 on my Trackhawk and now have the Z26 on my Challenger HC and I can tell for a fact that the Z26 have a bit more bite.
