I've had both. 3.09's are a lot more fun on the street.

I agree with this .. I did love them on the street ... But they hurt me at the track with a 28 inch tall tire unfortunately.

I can see where the 3.09 would be more fun on the street. My wife's Charger R/T has the 3.08 and it feels lively in comparison to the cat and 2.62.
But I actually prefer the feeling of the 2.62 in the cat.🤷 Not sure livelier is required with the cat and driving privileges retention.
As far as the track goes well I won't step in that again. Believe whatever you choose too. I probably disagree.😂

First and second gear must be next to useless with a 3.70 gear in there .. i found with a 3.09 and a 28 install tire that 1 was almost useless i can't imagine the 3.70"s lol

Have a few more things to do then I go to the track with them with the 3.70 and around 900whp. We’ll see how it goes. May be a 3.09 in my future lol, but we’ll see

If I can get it to hook it’ll lift the front wheels and cut a nasty 60’ for sure, may hurt me in the top end but hopefully not by much. 60’ should make up for it

Demon driveshaft, will have a dif brace, cradle lockout, and possibly bmr trailing arms

Have the tires on 17x10” forgestar f14 beadlocks. Will have seats out and lightweight drivers seat
