Was supposed to be Scat Pack (SP) but fat thumbs and auto correct...I'm not going to do anything back there I was just curious. By the way, what is SC m6?
So you're saying the Hellcat Challenger M6 standard rear ratio is 3.09?3.09
707/717hpSo you're saying the Hellcat Challenger M6 standard rear ratio is 3.09?
I’ve searched myself and never got a straight answer. I have a ‘22 Hellcat WB Challenger 717 HP. With A8 transmission 2.62 gear. And Was thinking of upgrading the rear gear to a 3.09 which comes in the Redeye as an option (I think) or standard.707/717hp
A8 = 2.62
M6 = 3.70
Those are the standard and only ratios ever available, there are no optional ratios on 707/717hp cars.

On the speedo, starting in 2015 the readings come from data supied by the wheel speed sensors so the car can adjust to a gear change and no tune for speedo reading is needed like before.I’ve searched myself and never got a straight answer. Anyways my question is: Does the speedometer readjust itself after I have a 3.09 gear installed? Or do we have to use a tuner to readjust it? And the odometer will also show you’re putting more miles on it than you actually are.
Thanks man.On the speedo, starting in 2015 the readings come from data supied by the wheel speed sensors so the car can adjust to a gear change and no tune for speedo reading is needed like before.

Just the tip huhI'm not going to do anything back there I was just curious.
Does it go off the rears or fronts? One wheel? Average? I have a reason for asking....On the speedo, starting in 2015 the readings come from data supied by the wheel speed sensors so the car can adjust to a gear change and no tune for speedo reading is needed like before.
People say the fronts but I think it's an average because every now and then you will still get a hero run that's too quick to be real.Does it go off the rears or fronts? One wheel? Average? I have a reason for asking....
I ask because last year I did Land Speed Trials and my tickets pretty much exactly matched my speedo. This year I had same size but different brand tires on the rear and the speedo read about 1.5mph higher than the ticket.People say the fronts but I think it's an average because every now and then you will still get a hero run that's too quick to be real.
