[Taxinator]

Just discovered the left (driver side) rear side marker, left rear LED strip, and center trunk LED strip are not working. They do turn on periodically, but only for a brief second before turning off again. The right (passenger side) rear side marker and right rear LED strip work without issue.

Any suggestions on where to start first? I’m currently buried in tax season, so I’m planning ahead. I’m guessing something is loose but not completely disconnected…since they do briefly turn on.

An Update:

The culprit was the left rear side marker. Upon unplugging and reconnecting the side marker, it worked again (but very dim) and all rear lights started working again. I thought the side marker was burned out, but it actually still works (just dim).

I contacted the manufacturer of the side marker, Diode Dynamics, and they sent a new set of side markers under warranty. Here is the website to the side markers I was using when the issue happened: LED Sidemarkers for 2015-2021 Dodge Charger (set)

What a strange issue, but Diode Dynamics stood by their product.
