I previously had a hellcat and now got the Redeye and when I started it up it sounded SUPER quiet. My old hellcat sounded way louder stock than the redeye. I just changed the exhaust and it still sounds very tame. Does anybody have a similar experience?

My RE is noticeable louder than a Hellcat.
Especially with clear cats now.;)

Make sure your cats are clear, they can internally bust down. Rare, but it happens.

Generally, the pipes have bends and seams in them. As they break in, carbon builds up and fills in the gaps and what-not in the pipes, which allows for a smoother flow. In addition, the baffles in the mufflers and resonators also get carboned, which lowers the tone somewhat. This makes it seem like it's louder as lower tones travel farther and you hear different levels of sound through the interior.
