Went down to my local dealer, placed the order and made it official 11/12/2021. Now the wait begins.

Hmmmm its peanuts when you think about it. Make 80,100,200k a year and see how much taxes they take from you.
But you are right they get you coming and going. I’d rather pay it and have the car than not. I’m sure in a couple/few years a lot of people would pay the gas guzzler tax when these cars disappear.

I only wanted 2 options: The wheels and 3.09 gears that is attached to a car with 797hp. That’s it.

Welcome to the United States of America. I’m not going to disagree that it is wrong but I knew of the Gas Guzzler Tax before I had the sales manager click to send. I could’ve bought a Mach E and got a substantial tax credit but that is not for me.
You can always write your congressperson or senator. Send a letter of your displeasure to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave?
It’s a moot point to me I just want the car.

Thank you. It is marked as a sold order I have the build sheet/order with the prices. There are no rebates/financing/incentives to lock in at this point since its a 2022 and they are building 2021’s still.

I have a 2022 truck ordered for about 2 months now and with dodge trx trucks there is no rhyme or reason when you get it del some come in about a month some 10 months I have it on a tracker hopefully I'll get it first of the year

Donlen also saying Dec 27 now but someone posted they heard Jan 27 and we do have 2021 orders with Jan build dates so I guess it's possible. Crazy times.
