It was recommended I run a Demon drive shaft for this application

I don’t know that one. I know the Redeye shaft is an upgrade for the hellcat.
with the hp being so close I would think they are compatible in that are but I could be wrono

Redeye and Demon both the same part number. Both are an upgrade from the standard HC axles.
