Hi I was just curious if there was a big reliability difference between the 2017 and 2018 hellcat challenger. About to buy one and the price difference for what I’m looking at is $5-6k. But they both have like 25-28k miles for both so is it worth it to buy the 2018 over the 2017. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is already been spoken about. Any feedback helps :)

The ‘17s can have some lingering supercharger issues from the first couple of years, but at that mileage probably would’ve shown up by now. Plus, with an extended warranty, you should be good for awhile yet, even if not. I wouldn’t hesitate on it because of that, especially for that difference in price between the two, just something to be aware of. My ‘17 has been totally solid other than that.

Okay thank you so much! The one I started paper work is a 17 with 25k miles and full extended warranty. Thank you so much for replying I really appreciate it! Have a great day
the 18 will, I believe, have electronic power steering, the 17 won't...

We sold our 2017 Charger Hellcat with 32K miles on it and it was flawless during the 2 1/2 years of ownership.
