I Installed one of these from the same guy a couple months back. It was the best solution for me for two reasons. The first is that I am running a Nick Williams 108mm Throttle body and the factory rubber tube was a real B+++H to stretch and get on there. This carbon fiber intake comes with much thicker and larger silicone(?) couplings that fit the larger throttle body much, much better. The intake tube is much smoother and more direct for better airflow on the inside and also eliminates one of the fittings tapped into the factory tube. You retain the MAF sensor and the new tube is already fitted out for you to just plug it in like the factory location. As far as the other fitting, you are supplied a small filter that fits on the outlet located just behind the coolant reservoir. You can see it in his picture just above the silver cap and below in the picture of my engine bay. The second reason I bought it is I think it looks very nice and clean. I am a carbon fiber fan. I have a CF hood as well as trunk lid on my car, it matches those nicely. I can say after two months of running it that it is a great product. The same guy also builds 3-D printed intake tubes that claims flow even better but I wanted the glossy CF. My car already makes 950 wheel horsepower, I doubt Ill be moving up from that anytime soon.....Although I have been thinking about what would happen if I added nitrous or replaced the blower with one of the kick-ass new Whipple 3.0s...
