Just finished having the resonators suite case removed. Much louder than stock. Intresting how the stock piping had a major grimp behind the passenger side resonators exit from factory. Also learned the Durango does not have an active exhaust like the charger does. All work performed by my buddy Kevin at Full Time Fabrication.

Did they mention X pipe at all? From my understanding (GF owns a 18 Durango R/T we did some exhaust work to) - most Durangos end up getting the big suitcase muffler replaced with an X pipe (Which is what we did)

We also removed her resonators (or mufflers, w/e you want to call them near the exhaust tips) and put on Dynomax Race Bullets and her 5.7 sounds pretty close to what my mid muffler delete Scat Pack sounded like - and probably on par with my Hellcat with vibrants

Sounds good! Now I’m gonna need to find a stock startup clip. What’s your thought on the sound difference?
Significantly louder day to day driving. I find it raspy uper RPM range. Drowns out a lot of the supercharger sound which is a negative for me. Had a FedEx truck pull up at light and driver nodded s and screams. "sounds nasty brother" LoL

Those chaps do good work.
I was thinking the same thing. It's nice to see someone TIG weld pieces instead of going the easy route with a MIG. He's got some skills with a TIG torch too and layed down some Nice looking welds!

If they'd have made it an H-pipe instead, it would be louder and deeper. It's having a real x-pipe that makes that rasp. I got the same upper rpm raspy sound when we had our 2015 SRT 392 with the Solo exhaust and the x-pipe. It did sound good though and popped quite a bit on deceleration too, which was a plus to me. It was Good, quality piece that reminds me of your exhaust.

Thanks for sharing the pics too!

I find the stock DHC exhaust to be embarrassingly loud. Cold starts late at night or early in the morning are certainly noise pollution. Some drone at certain RPM. I'm planning on having some additional resonators added to the factory system. I'm hoping to be able to tuck some Vibrant 1142's in there somewhere.

I did not weight the suite case but feels like good 40llb. My buddy Kevin's shop Full Time Fabrication in NJ does tons of work from race cages, custom exhaust, turbo kits. home to a lot of 7sec AWD civics but shops not solely Hondas. I known him since he was a kid and he always been meticulous with his work as you see.
