I’m not sure if I’m choosing the right sub forum but can somebody explain in theory and practice what are the differences between return and returnless fuel system for hellcat?

and when do we need to upgrade the stock fuel pump?

Usually you upgrade the fuel system when you add bigger injectors or have maxed out the pumps ability to send enough fuel to the injectors.

I started with a BAP and it still wasn’t enough to supply the 1050x injectors. (Dont add these, learn from my mistakes). From there I went with the OST dual pump setup and I have enough fuel pressure for days!

From what I remember when i installed mine the FORE hat has a slot for the return which makes it a return style system. Hope this helps!

Fore fuel hats are nice. I purchased a twin pump setup years ago. Ran it as a returnless system for some time and as my power goals increased i was able to switch it to a return style system with even larger pumps in the same fuel hat. Think they even give you an option to send your twin pump hat back in to upgrade to a triple pump.

Typically want to upgrade the stock pump once you add a smaller pulley and larger injectors. You can upgrade just the pump or you can go with one of the Fore Innovations setups. Their systems are nice because like others have said you can do their twin pump returnless setup and down the road convert it to a return style system and they will upgrade it to a triple pump if you send it in once you're making serious power.
