Revved it after parking and turned off the car too early while the rpms were still dropping and heard a low grind. Did I just damage something?

Just wondering if theres anything my dumba^^ needs to watch because it sounded bad although I'm not sure what it was coming from up front. Sounded like stopping a fan with a playing card but lower in tone.

I guess you've never killed the ignition on a car because the throttle stuck? Even at 5000rpm they stop instantly unless they diesel

Probably the blower pulley clutch. It keeps the blower from dropping too much rpm while shifting. I would just keep your ears open but if that was it, should be ok.

If you have an OBD device, check for MIL's. But I don't think anything is compromised.

Sounds perfectly fine on start and took it around the block. Just nearly crapped myself after hearing that and got nervous.

They only turn over x revolutions before they don’t
