This is amazing, thank you!!

Does anyone know if I need to do anything if I have a tazer or a tune? I would think it shouldn't but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I unmarried mine, and they had no issues with the update. Tunes won't matter since this update is on the BCM side.

Does Dodge cover the cost for RF Hub Lockout?

My dealer wants $250 to do a 2019.

Covered under warranty, are you still under the 3/36?

The original 3/36 expired however bought the Mopar extended warranty 7/75. Dealer claims they have no clue what I’m talking about because it wasn’t a FCA recall.

Its not a recall but a TSB and they can look it up by the TSB number above. It says on the TSB it is covered under the provisions of the warranty and whether your extended warranty will cover this or not I do not know.

Here are the actual TSB PDF's
The labor on the TSB I believe says 0.2hrs. So FYI if they charge you it shouldn’t be that much.

Anyone had this RF Hub lockout TSB done on a modified car with an aftermarket tune ? I've got my 2016 Hellcat scheduled for the RF Hub lockout next week. Livernois said it shouldn't be a problem, but I'd like to hear form someone who has already done it on a tuned car.

Pretty sure the tune has nothing to do with it.

From what I know the software update is to the RFhub, not the ECM. So it's a seperate module to where your tune resides.

Exactly been there done that. Tunes or ECM are safe from the RFhub update.

@DodgeCares Can you confirm if this TSB is only provided free under warranty or can anyone get this done for free regardless of warranty status?

I can confirm my dealer performed it at no charge after my B2B had expired. For one reason, I didn't get notice it was available until after my B2B expired. Whether they are treating this under powertrain, I don't know but it wouldn't make sense either.
Sigh, of course they'd have some sort of issue with the manual. Have been trying to read up on this issue after seeing it for the first time here 15 minutes ago and have been wondering why I haven't gotten any recall notices in the mail for it. My car is garage kept but I still get worried about it being stolen if I park somewhere overnight or even in a parking garage for a few hours to see a movie. These cars seem to just be that easy to steal.

Guess I'll keep waiting and checking back here, wonder if there's a way to get notified when they resolve that case regarding the manual Challengers.

What dealer is doing your TSB? I am from the Western MA area and my local dealer was clueless when i inquired with them.

Made the appointment with Metro Jeep/Dodge in Chicopee. Did it online though and included the TSB number in the notes. Going to call today to be sure they know what it is.
Edit:
So ya they had no idea and kept telling me they are showing no recalls for that year lol. I had to nicely tell them to look up the TSB number, not a recall. After researching it they found it. I need to find that letter that they mailed out stating they will discount the fourth fob. Of course they are trying to whack me full price.
