Anyone get any rock chips yet. I have managed two small ones, in 400 miles. Every other car I have ever owned, this never happened until the at least 5,000 miles. This isn't from tailgating either.

Probably cheap paint. I put film on the front of my car and I've only got about 600 miles. So far so good. The first chip sucks. At least you have it over with!

I waited a month before getting mine and I have tons of tiny marks down low to show for it...

I wrapped the hood and clear bra on the front and fenders.... No chips for me

Car has been "up-armored" with 2/3 clear bra and cquartz. F-you rocks... Wasn't cheap, but where I live is a gravel pit.

When you do just the front, can you see/feel the line of where the clear film is?

from the front of the car you cant see the line across the hood...not on the bumper
from the back and back views you can

walking a 360 around the car about 1/2 the time you will see the line, 1/2 the time you wont

on the sides by the door you can see the line 100% of the time

who cares if you see or feel the line......its saving the front/sides of your car

i had stone chips inside the wheel wells where the splash guards go after the 350 mile ride home......so the splash guards are also a must

A dealer put on the wife's car before we bought it and did not tell us. Then wanted to charge us for it. I made them take it off. I just did not like the look of it...you could really see the line.

I just bought a whole front end kit, 12 in of hood and fenders, bottoms of doors, rear quarters and top of rear bumper for 700.00 from Invisible mask
It is the 3m Scotchguard Pro clear vinyl, Can be a PIA to install, but I've done 2 other vehicles, so I'll tackle it.
Good thing is, they offer insurance, so if you bugger a piece up, you can buy a replacement for 70 percent off

Nothing yet and at 3000 miles. A friend of mine has a big chip on his bumper with half the miles. However he has paint chipping in a couple of places. Hooray for warranties.

Warranty doesn't cover paint chips if caused by impacts...

Understood. The other chipping is around the trunk area from poor quality. The bumper is out of pocket.
