I got a 2017 Charger Scatpak with the Dynamics package (63000 miles)...I'm on my 2nd set of front rotors with 33,000 miles on them and need to replace...I'm thinking of buy the same OE...I do alot of highway driving and No track...Don't race the car...just cruising.

Any tips on replacement front rotors with Brembo 6/piston???....Before I buy the OE's again.

With mostly highway miles, seems like you shouldn't need rotors.

What mm do they measure out at right now?

Mostly highway? Save your money and buy the standard one piece. Centric offers a replacement if i remember correctly.
I would do new PowerStop pads as well since you’re doing new rotors.

Don't know on the MM...I will check with my mechanic....

The dealer got me the first time, and I decided on the 2nd set...

My rears are still original rotors in which I need to replace (63000)

I put like 70 miles a day...When it comes exiting off the highway I let the car slow down itself or coming to a traffic light...
Thanks for the info
Sounds like driving like that you would never need rotors.

And this will be your third set?

Something definitely not right.

My bad...2nd set....I put 31000 miles on the originals now another 32000 miles...I just feel not paying $1400 on OE rotors only...If there's a brand out there I might consider.

Already posted a great alternative to the OE rotor. Built to basically the same specs. A lot of people are using them. Them will the z26 pads and you've still got some great breaks. I know I can't tell a difference between them and my old OE set.

If you can see the slots on both sides of the rotor, then they are thick enough. When the slots are gone, this is Discard thickness by design.

Pictures of your rotors would help us all.

Bigger question is: Does the steering wheel shimmy and/or the brake pedal pulsate during a stop event?? From 60 MPH with medium pedal apply for 5-10 seconds, what if anything does the car do while stopping/slowing?? This will diagnose any warped rotor(s).

I trust you use an actual torque wrench to torque the lug nuts to 115 Ft Lbs & not an impact.

Like was said, I have used Centric brand on a CTS-V, same weight/brakes, and they worked great. I tracked the heck out of it and I liked the guarantee against warpage for one year.
