Rpm dips down if I stab the gas

Hi new to the forums page , I have a very interesting problem with my 17 charger HC if I have the car in park and try to tap the gas (a slight rev) my rpm will dip down like the car is going to die out before shooting up. But if I lean into the pedal instead of just tapping it , it revs as it normally does. Anyone else have this problem ? Is something wrong with my car or am I an idiot 😂
