Looks like my order, RTSPWB Shaker is in g staus for 8 days as of today.
Said ship date is Sept 10th.
Order date was July 15th.
Understand plant was down last week for chip shortage.
Anyone else out there in similar situation?
No big hurry and probably a good thing...... Anyone heard when Brampton will resume production?

They started back up. Was only shut down for a week at the end of august, as per my dodge rep

Ok. The KZLD.... is this partly due to the shipping company waiting to fill up rail car(s) to ship to a predetermined business district ? If Dodge doesn't control the shipping and they dont from what I gather then at that point Dodge is no longer in control.

On another note I got information the rail shipper goes ahead and charges the shipping fee while the car is still in the shipping yard and not on a train yet.

At any rate the car will travel from Brampton to Shreveport, La then to East Texas to the dealer.
I think all things considered they do a fair job as it has to be a sorting nightmare to get the right vehicles on a rail car going to the same place which may mean waiting for more to be built to fill said rail cars. Wouldn't make sense to load, unload and reload.

Anyone seeing anything different than this?

Not sure what the delay would be but my guess is you will be rolling soon.

My car going going to dealer in South Mississippi went by truck to Sterling Heights, MI then by train from there to Port Allen, LA by Baton Rouge and then truck again to dealer.

The whole nearly 1300 mile trip only took 12 days so hang in there!

Thanks for the info. I'll check with the dealer in a few days to see if its moving. Ordered for my wife. She has no idea. We are retirement age so figured I'd get one for her so she can enjoy a few years.

Red shaker scatpack widebody showed up this morning at the dealer. Shows it's still in kzm status. Ordered it July 15th so considering all going on that's not bad. Sure looks like the shipper needs to fire all involved in status updates after Dodge releases the cars. I've seen too many similar circumstances for this to be called competent by any means. Christ they arent shipping that many cars right now. What's happens at full tilt production.......

The people updating the statuses havent been working for three weeks. If anything you should be grateful it showed up at all.

Red scatpack came in last Thursday. Nice car but paint was really tough. Hood had abrasions in the clear like a strap or plastic flap flogged it all the way from Brampton. Paint correction took 5 hrs and she looks great. Ordered July 15th and delivered October 7th. Fitment looks good and interior quality is good. Wife's in love with it. It's hers.
