Running rear drag radials with stock tires in the front ?

Bought my 2016 charger hellcat with what looks like brand new pirelli p zeros, I guess they were replaced right before I bought it, they still have 90% life at least on them. They suck….. I’m looking at some nt555r2 for the rear, is there anything wrong with running the stock ones up front with the nt555r2 ? Don’t want to replace all 4 when they are still so new. I don’t plan on taking it to the drag strip but just want something that hooks better when playing on the street occasionally. Thanks

IMO, Michelin PS4S. Almost as good as a drag radial and you'll get 12k miles out of them, plus they're a fantastic all weather tire (minus snow). On a Hellcat doing race car things on the street, you might get 3-5k out of those DRs.
Only 12k miles out of a PS4S? That seems very low. Are you basing this on somewhat often burn outs and digs?
315/35/20 PS4S saw 20k miles on the PS4S before it starts to loose rain efficiently. Dry traction still good until 25k but I took the camber out of the rear end so they wear evenly.
I got 6k miles out of my NT555rII this summer and they have about half tread left still. Did very well I’m the rain for a drag tire. Never took it over 70mph during heavy rain though. I definitely fall into the race things on the street category. Full summer of bing challenged at lights, highway runs and trying to beat my brother in laws trackhawk from a dig lol

I run pilot sport all season 4’s up front 315/35/20 and NT555rII 315/35/20 in rear here in Michigan. Great set up absolutely nothing wrong with running that combo and is probably more common than full drag packs. Loved the NT555rII and would hook from a slow roll but don’t expect to hook up from a dig lol for that, I’m getting 18x13 wheels made and throwing 345/35/18 Mickey Street SS on next spring/summer.
