I have 15,000 miles on my 2020 redeye. I have noticed the coolant reservoir is brownish above the coolant level in the tank, and looks like rust in the coolant. I still have the coolant smell, with no fluid loss or dripping. Dealer pressure tested and found no leak. Is it normal for the coolant to appear rust colored and have brown deposits in it with so few miles? Oil has zero signs of water contamination. Also does not smoke out exhaust at all. Any ideals? Thanks

Have you looked for a small leak somewhere?
Oxidation can cause this.
Plus you will have to change it out.
But t is rusty looking and not Brown?

Well the color of the coolant is definitely a bit dark (brownish), but its like flecks of rust throughout as well. And now the engine is knocking/tapping too. Im taking it in under warranty for an appointment soon. Already have it set up to do so. Not driving it in the meantime.

And yes looked everywhere for a leak, dealership did too. You can smell coolant all the time, but doesn’t drip at all, or loose coolant. Must be super small and evaporates away instead of leaking. I will post whatever is found.
