I'd be more concerned with what is going on with the rest of the car you can't see.
Agree. The car was covered with road salt when it was delivered to the dealer from Toledo. I had undercoating applied to the car as I live on the coast and would have thought that the undercarriage would have been cleaned before the undercoat was applied.

It looks like there more a lot rust on the exhaust behind the tips. I’m gonna have to see about getting it up on a lift for a better look.

short trips around town possibly. i’ve seen guys start their car and water pukes out. gotta get ‘‘em hot enough the burn off the moisture. looks like clamp or hanger between muffler and tip may be the culprit

I live in that area and work in Toledo and yes the roads get really crappy around here. I have a new take off bed for my 2013 Ram that I bought new in August 13 sitting in my driveway to go on my truck for this very reason. Was already repaired under warranty in 16 but came back over the wheel openings about two years ago. Sucks here in the winter months and that's why my SS is going to be a summer only car.

More of a hot oil fan myself.

I assume you drive this year around in the winter? Rinse road salt off?

only way to keep a car nice is to never drive in the winter. I have 2 trucks I drive in winter and even with undercoating they don’t last forever. Salt is white death!

No, its a garage queen. Almost 3 years old, 3100 or so miles and garage kept. Never been in the snow/salt and barely in the rain.

Your garage must have alot of moisture in it for the tips to look like that.

Anyone else having an issue with exhaust tips rusting out? 2019 REWB, garage kept, still under warranty. Have a call into the dealer to see if they are covered under warranty.
Mine started rusting a month after I got my 2020. I CLR'd them first, then I masked off the rear valence and sprayed them with flat black hi-temp engine paint. Problem solved.
