Haha, I’ve been researching for two weeks now. Just wanted to get some reviews from here before pulling the trigger tomorrow. And, I’m not paying 5k! Actually, it’s less than 4, but that includes installation and dyno time.

If you select the upgrades (ID injectors, clutched pulley and trans tuning, and I would do all 3) you're close to $5k. I don't see any other fuel upgrades in their stage 1 kit, other than the injectors. Not even a JMS booster..

True, but he’s having a Black Friday sale (10% off) and if you pay cash, then he gives you another 250 off. I was quoted $3,980 for the trans tune, 1000cc FIC injectors and the clutched pulley. Correct, no other fuel upgrades. Other companies like Dusterhoff and HHP only offer injectors for their level 1 packages.

Just be careful that whoever you use that they leave your ECM unlocked. That way anyone can tweak it later if you want to continue chasing horsepower. Some vendors relock your ECM so only they can get into it.

Satera can unlock your ECM at their shop and they do not relock it. They have the hardware to do the unlock in-house. No sending it out.

Think he may have been referring to the tune being locked, not the ECM. Curt locks his tune, Livernois also, not sure of others.

Satera also does not lock his tunes. He will use the TDN app if you are remote tuning if you prefer, or he will send you the HPT tune file and you can flash it yourself if you have HPT, the MPVI2+/3 and a laptop.

I started using the TDN with him but I wanted to use the device and laptop. So he would send me updated tunes through email and I would flash them and then go drive and log the car. Then send logs back and wait for his reply. Usually same day or next morning. Locking tunes is bullshit. Its your tune, you are paying for it. I'd NEVER let anyone hold my car's tune hostage for any reason. If hes too insecure to worry about his precious tunes getting stolen, then there are plenty of other great tuners that are not like this. Satera being one.

Exactly. They make there own clutched pulleys in house that are "according to them" stronger and better made than the Hellraisers that have been know to fail on some cars.

Satera is a big believer in using clutched pulleys that don't put the strain on these cars like the non-clutched pulleys do.

OP your in good hands with Satera, I wish they were in my area down here in South Florida. Jeremy is a great guy and a wealth of knowledge.

Thanks, brother. I’ve read nothing but good about Satera and his clutched pulley. He’s about 400 miles away, but I believe it’ll be worth the drive!

I talked with Jeremy Satera and he told me he can normally do the level 1 package in one day if the pulley comes off easily.

Not really, just a FUN daily driver. Do you know what there turn around times normally are?

HHP Builds many "Fun to Drive Daily's" turn around time is 2 days.

Day 1 to install the mods.......not rushing a build!
Day 2 is for the Dyno Tune.


Whether you go to HHP or not I would still give Sales a call, just for comparison. Also today is their Cyber Monday Sale.

Can’t go wrong with Satera. He has solved a lot of issues that other tuners struggle with or still aren’t doing. He worked some wonders on a Trackhawk swap into a 2016 Durango for us I will forever be in debt for

Im just now seeing this. I had my car originally tuned by another shop that was out of Illinois. I had all sorts of issues with the flex tune I was provided and spent an entire summer tinkering and getting nowhere. Fast forward to last fall and I had Jeremy get his flex system set up and my car has been DIALED IN. I recently just went from 2.85 to a 2.75 with 10% flex and FI Interchiller. They did a great job on the car and it's running consistent 9s all damn day.

Not only was the shop able to get the car together but Jeremy has been OVER THE TOP communicative with me. I friggin love working with Jeremy.
